how to add custom assets to dungeon painter studio

I'm sure the other week I managed to get them all working perfectly, I can't verify this exactly as I'm organising so many assets at the moment. All I'm trying to do is use custom assets here I just can't work out how to get my assets to work as sub folders at all! I'll click a picture and DPS will place a different image each time I click on screen to place an object, cycling through my folder images. I know DPS is reading my sub-folders it's just not displaying them correctly. So, I'll click a custom folder in the dropdown, DPS will only display the first image within my sub-folders then when I click on screen it cycles through the sub folders but doesn't show any sub-folders on screen, like an invisible cycle. I can use custom folders but DPS cycles through my images without letting me see their folders, it's as if DPS is cycling through my folders with every click on screen. I've endlessly checked the default assets folders that DPS installs and I can see they all are lower case but my custom folders don't seem to show up properly.
